Setting-up and using  SpongeBath is easy! There are helpful instructions in the box, and you can always find the instructions on our website here.

When used as directed, SpongeBath kills 99.99% of odor-causing bacteria in 10 minutes. The longer your sponge soaks, the cleaner it will be! For stubborn stains, a longer soak time will be needed. For best results, keep the sponge bathing in the cleaning solution whenever you're not using it. Remember, SpongeBath is the clean sponge holder too!

SpongeBath's patent-pending citric acid concentrated cleaning solution is composed of food-grade ingredients, safe when used as directed. Because it is concentrated, avoid contact with your eyes and skin as it may cause irritation. Use only as directed.

Don’t worry if you over pour! You don’t need to be exact. You can use the handy ounce markings on the side of the bottle to help you measure out ounces.

SpongeBath works with all household sponges up to 4.75” in length including synthetic, natural, cellulose and scrubber sponges. Do not use with bathing, make-up or any other sponges for personal use.

Your sponge should always be covered with cleaning solution. Normal use will require adding some water to the tub from time to time. Don't worry - your cleaning solution is effective for one week with normal usage of your sponge. 

With normal use, simply add one ounce (30 mL) of SpongeBath Concentrated Cleaning Solution to your SpongeBath once a week. With heavier sponge use, replenish the cleaning solution more frequently. 

Soaps and solids can interfere with the effectiveness of the cleaning solution so you should thoroughly rinse your sponge before storing it in its cleaning bath.
